Frequently Asked Questions
How do I schedule an appointment?
You can book directly through our online portal.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes, we provide telehealth sessions for residents of Massachusetts. If you’re outside of Massachusetts, we encourage you to explore our coaching services.
What are your session lengths and costs?
We offer 55- and 90-minute sessions. Pricing depends on the session length and service type—contact us for details.
Are you licensed therapists?
Yes, Julia O'Donnell Postema, LICSW, CST, and Jeremiah Gibson, LMFT, CST, are licensed relationship therapists in Massachusetts and certified sex therapists.
Why doesn’t Let’s Heal Together accept insurance?
At LHT, we understand the importance of making therapy affordable and accessible. However, American insurance companies operate on a diagnostic model that can complicate relationship and sexual health therapy. These stipulations often limit access to care for clients and delay or restrict payments to therapists, making it challenging to provide the personalized and comprehensive support we believe every client deserves.
While we do not accept insurance directly, we can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance provider for potential reimbursement.
Why is relationship therapy so expensive?
When you pay for relationship therapy, you are covering more than the time spent in sessions. Therapy payments also help support:
Additional research specific to your case
Ongoing continuing education that benefits all clients of Let’s Heal Together (LHT)
Communication and case management services between sessions
Collaboration with other providers
Access to free resources we create pro bono, including our educational podcast
Supervision or consultation with colleagues that therapists pay for privately
This list is not exhaustive, as therapy payments may also cover other miscellaneous labor related to your care.
